The Heart Care Foundation (HCF), Comilla, Bangladesh [National Associate Member of the World Heart Federation (WHF)] was formed on 1st September, 2004 with the objectives of Cardiac care, prevention, research and rehabilitation. Now a days the reason for the death and paralyses is CAD in 2020, the main cause of death of CAD will cross over the boundary of the developed countries and will be the main cause of death all over the world. The cause of the death of CAD was 1,67,00,000 which was 30.9% of the total death in 2000. Among these, the death rate of CAD was more than 40% in the developing countries and 25% to the developed countries. In 2003, one third of the total death or 1,70,00,000 was due to CAD. This rate will increase to 4,97,00,000 in 2020. WHO research shows that in Bangladesh 1,30, 006 people died of CAD and 64,515 people died of Stroke in 2002. It is the matter of fear that this figure will highly increase in the coming future. So, in order to eliminate this dreadful disease the HCF, Comilla, Bangladesh will implement the following main mission & objectives.
