Activities of 2006

September Activities:
 
* The programs schedule for the World Heart Day
        -24 September Sunday 2006
 
* On 15 September a special Newsletter will be published on the
   theme of World Heart Day.
* On 22 September at 03:00pm an art competition will be held among
   the school going children on the theme of World Heart Day.
* On 23 September Press Conference (National, Local newspaper,
   Magazines and Television) will be call.
* On the Heart Day
* World Heart Day kits (cap, t-shirt, leaflet, poster) will be going
   to distribute to the participants.
* At 09:00am a Rally will be held with the participation of Children,
   Doctors and people of all sections of the society.
* An exhibition will be held.
* Seminar will be held on "World Heart Day" theme "How Young Is Your
   Heart" with the participation of all sections of people.
* In the seminar all the participants of Art Competition will get the
   HCF Certificates & the selected First Three will get HCF Prize.

On 4thJanuary, 2006 data collection was started in comilla regarding prevalence Congenital Heart Disease, juvenile obesity and presence of causative risk factors of CAD in school going children’s among different economic classes.

On 23rd February,2006 completed heart camp on 2000 children in YWCA Nursery School, Comilla.  
Observation of the world hypertension day on 13th May, 2006.

Activities of 2005

A monthly cardiac news letter named ‘hridoyer chithi’ was started to publish from the month of May 2005 to aware the people about the causation, out come and various prevention measures of cardio vascular Diseases.

A seminar was held at ‘World Heart Day’ on 25thSeptember, 2005 regarding ‘Healthy Weight, Healthy Shape’ in the Diabetic Hospital Auditorium, comilla where various social leaders and professionals were present and exchanged their views. Different media reporters are also present to collect information about this day. Two satellite TV channels of the country highlighted the seminar world wide.
